Negotiation and CBA Consultant

Scott Coykendall is excited to be working with the UNH Lecturers United-AAUP. He brings 25 years of experience in higher education, including a long career as a professor at Plymouth State University and years of service in faculty union leadership. As a former chief negotiator and leader of the AAUP at PSU, Scott is experienced with collective bargaining, contract administration, grievance support, member engagement, and faculty organizing. He knows the strongest unions are built through listening, shared leadership, and active member participation, and he looks forward to working with faculty across UNH to strengthen the union and support its members. Outside of work, Scott is a writer, podcaster, and lifelong advocate for public higher education.
Chapter Coordinator

Peter Welch is your UNH Lecturers United-AAUP Chapter Coordinator. Peter’s duties include:

  • managing membership
  • managing payroll & dues deduction
  • arranging audits and submitting tax forms
  • managing website
  • supporting work of the Officers/Executive Committee
  • responding to questions and concerns of members from the Collective Bargaining Unit
