All bargaining unit members should be aware that they have a right to Union representation at investigatory interviews with administration. You must make it clear (either before or during any interviews) that you want Union representation. You may stop an interview or discussion until you are able to have Union representation. If you are denied Union representation, this is an unfair labor practice. You may not be penalized for making a request for Union representation.
Please respond to the Grievance Intake questions with as much information as you are comfortable sharing. Preferring not to specify at this time is completely acceptable, and a member of the Grievance team will follow-up on any details needed to better understand your grievance.
